Why a Maine-Based Mitigator Matters

We Know Maine Geology

Maine's granite-rich bedrock produces some of the highest radon readings in the country. We've worked on hundreds of homes built on bedrock, ledge, and clay — we know what works in each.

We Know Maine Housing

From 1800s farmhouses with stone foundations to modern subdivisions in Falmouth and Cape Elizabeth — Maine's housing stock is unique. National chains don't have this experience.

Faster Response Times

We're based in Maine — not dispatched from Boston or out of state. Most quote requests get a response within a few hours, and we can often schedule installations within the same week.

NRPP-Certified, Maine-Licensed

We hold National Radon Proficiency Program certification and meet all Maine licensing requirements. Documentation suitable for real estate transactions and lender requirements.

Service Area Questions

My town isn't listed — do you still serve me?

Probably yes. Our 48-town directory shows the towns we work in most regularly, but we cover most of Central and Southern Maine. Call us with your address and we'll let you know on the spot — there's no charge to ask.

Do you charge a travel fee for further-out towns?

For our standard service area, our flat-rate price includes travel — no surprises. For projects significantly outside the area, we'll let you know upfront if there's a small travel adjustment, and you can decide before any work is scheduled.

How quickly can you get to my house?

Most assessments are scheduled within a few business days, and installations typically follow within one to two weeks. If you have a real-estate closing or other urgent timeline, tell us when you call — we accommodate urgent requests whenever possible.

Do you serve commercial properties too?

Yes. We mitigate radon in apartments, schools, daycares, offices, and government buildings throughout our service area. See our commercial radon mitigation page for details.
